Merry Christmas Stamped All Around Card

I enjoyed some fun crafting time today and decided to spend it making some Christmas cards.

I started this card off by stamping the spruce greenery all around the edge of the card. Staying with the traditional red green and gold once again I heat embossed both the sentiment and the poinsettia floral in gold.
Today’s card was simple leaving white space. I really like how it turned out.

Noel Christmas Card

I am sure that there are lots of people who are almost finished creating their handmade Christmas cards - I am not one of those people. In fact I have probably only got half a dozen of them done so far. So when I saw the challenge on The Flower Challenge blog I figured that a Christmas card was a great way to go.

First I used a Rare Earth pine branch to create my background around the top. Then I used the small floral Christmas flowers that I heat embossed in gold and coloured in with ink. I created the candle in the same way. The sentiment is gold heat embossed. The shape element on my card is the scalloped rectangle cut from the metallic red paper.

I really do like creating with the traditional Christmas color pallet of red green and gold.

You Are Loved

I have been so busy at work lately that I haven’t taken the time when I get home to do any blogging of my card or layout creations all I do is create. So I guess tonight I am trying to get caught up on documentation of my creativity.
My last card is another card with lots of layered stencils being used.

Both the background and the floral daisy wreath were components that I created this summer at the cabin. I took my PinkFresh inks and stencils with some paper and brushes and it was a fun and relaxing way to relax after a long day at the beach - oh take me back to those wonderful and warm days!!

Dimension and gems were used for those finishing touches.

- the shape I incorporated was that lovely heart.

I am so happy with how this card turned out - I see more of these similar in design in my future craft adventures. I definitely can’t get enough of the amazing Pink Fresh Studio stencils.

Merry Christmas Ornaments

I am sure that this will be a first of many Christmas cards that I create for this holiday season. My goal this year is to make Christmas cards for our town’s Nursing Home. Our family was very blessed by the facility and all its many amazing staff while our grandmother was a resident there for 12 years - until her passing at 105 years old!
This Christmas stencil and die set will be well used in my Christmas card making I am sure.

I used the chevron die for the background of this card. And of course - don’t forget the foam tape for dimension. And no card is quite finished without a touch of bling - gems to the rescue!

Peace & Joy Simple Christmas card

Having fun playing with my new tree layered stencils saw me create a simple (but lovely) Christmas card.

I also love these amazing sentiments. 1 piece stamp and die that create multiple sentiments is such a game changer. I like this glitter red for this sentiment.

Fall Thinking of You Card

Continuing to use my beautiful floral embellishments that I created with my florals from my Be Strong floral stencil / stamp / die set.

Lots of yellows, purples, and gold to remind me of the gorgeous colors of fall.

I used the background diamond stencil to give a light hint of depth to my yellow background. Then I placed the ink stencilled  florals both behind and in front of the scalloped circle die cut. I think that the gold heat embossed sentiment looks so good. And the best thing about that sentiment is that in one quick pass I can make multiple different sentiments as they are all one stamp and die set - genius as a huge time saver!!

Thinking of You Striped Floral Card

Have I mentioned how much I love (all) the Pink Fresh Studio floral layered stencils? Yes? Well let me say it again!! I Love them!! Oh and I also hooked my mom on them when we were crafting together this summer. I really enjoyed playing with all my ink colors and all my stencils just creating panel after panel that I then die cut to use as embellishments for future cards and scrapbook layouts. I have lots of baggies of beautiful florals.
So of course I started with those gorgeous florals to create this card. It was so much fun!

These florals are from the Be Strong stencil / stamp /die set. I love how you can use any or all items together. I love purple flowers so I started with that and built the card from there.
I enjoyed using for the first time my new background die (definitely an essential die)! Whenever I use blues and purples I tend to gravitate towards using silver and this time was no different with the lovely sentiment. Add a few beautiful jewels and there you have it.

I had so much fun on this card. I will be entering this in the following challenges.

You’re The Sweetest Fall Card

Here is a simple card that I made in the fall color  tones of yellow, orange, burgundy and purples. I chose to use grey tones for the leaves this time.

I used one of my favourite floral stencils the Pink Fresh Studio Be Strong stencil and die set. The sentiment is also from Pink Fresh Studio as a stamp and die set. One day I will invest in a hot foil machine and then I will need to coordinating hot foil plate. But until then I stamp and sometimes emboss the sentiments.

I also used an essential die scalloped circle die (yup also from Pink Fresh Studio).

Seriously- if you haven’t checked out Pink Fresh Studio yet - what are you waiting for?! Their floral stencils are so awesome!! I absolutely love inking up those gorgeous stencils.
