Thinking of You Waffle Flower watercolour card

This evening my daughter and I were playing around in the craft area with “our” watercolours. For this card I used the beautiful magnolia floral stamps and my Altenew metallic watercolours.

Sadly by the time I took the photo of the finished product the sun had already set and so it is hard to get the full effect of the lovely sparkle. So I took numerous photos at different angles

I heat embossed the lovely stamped image in gold embossing powder. I love doing that when watercolouring.

I will be entering this in the Waffleflower weekly challenge.

Enjoy Today

I had a productive afternoon in my craft area. And I played a lot with my Pinkfresh supplies to create this layout. I used floral papers from Pinkfresh with my primary focus a large circle on the bottom right of the page.
This page came together relatively quickly being as I kept it fairly simple. My journaling is hidden away on the tags behind the photos.

Seeding and Harvest 2020

This layout was done for another challenge. I have found that by following challenges I am much better at keeping up with my scrapbooking.

This page follows the March challenge from Pinkfresh for florals. I used a floral stem from the Dainty Blossoms die set - it made me think of a canola stem. The lovely floral patterned  papers are Pinkfresh as well. And of course the 2020 comes from my favourite  Pinkfresh die Heather lowercase.

Unfortunately I was all out of good heavy white base paper and so I did end up with a bit of curling where I did some of the watercolours with the Pinkfresh liquid water colors (a personal favourite of mine). That lovely circular die cut is a Pinkfresh digital cut that is a freebie from their Facebook page.

I definitely enjoyed my time in my craft room.

Hi floral card

I have another lovely Simple card which I created with my Pinkfresh supplies.

I created the background using my nested chevron stamp with the Pinkfresh luscious inks! Then I did some light splatter with the inks mixed with water. The floral in the center is a Spring Pinkfresh floral stamp. And the word hi is cut from my new favourite font die - Heather lowercase.
I coloured the floral with the Pinkfresh inks and then added some wink of Stella to the flowers. I did add some bling - and sadly the bling shows as a much different Color in the picture than what it does in person. I am happy with how this turned out.

HEY floral card

Today I have a simple floral card to share.

I used my Pinkfresh Nested Chevron die to create the eye catching background for this card. With the background being so striking I decided to go super simple with the floral on the front. I used the Dainty Blossoms die set for that lovely floral piece and I also used the Hey from the Hey Gorgeous sentiment die.

I added a little bit of bling with some gems from my stash.
I really like the yellow against the turquoise and purple background.
