Shaped card

I pulled out my favourite Pink Fresh Studio Stamp and coloured it with my water color pencils in purple hues to create this hexagon shaped card. A pretty quick and easy card to have on hand.

Layout - Proud

Today I am sharing an 8x8 layout. I have been working on memory books for my kids of their time spent with their Great Grandmother. She is currently 105 and doing very well. We spend lots of time visiting her at the nursing home where she lives.
This layout features the beautiful stamp set from Pink Fresh Stamps which I coloured using watercolour pencils.

I thought I was done with this layout but then decided to give it a title. Proud. This amazing Great Grandmother is always so proud of her Great Grandchildren. And this photo captured her pride after Raelynn played the piano for her.

I love how those flowers turned out with the blended purple colouring.

Hello Watercolouring

Today I was able to play in my craft area with my new found fun of watercolours. I am just starting out on this new medium of colouring, but so far I am really enjoying all that I can do with watercolours. I currently only have 3 colours from Pink Fresh Studio Stamps and can’t wait to be able to purchase some more colours. What’s great with watercolours is that those 3 liquid colours actually gives a lovely pallet of varying colours when mixed or diluted. Pure joy and me time!

This is the card that I created.

I love that teal / turquoise!

I will be entering this card in the current Hero Arts challenge. The challenge is all about Self Care. I think that this card and the joy that I brought to me during its creation definitely fit the bill.  So much fun!

Until next time!

Sewing fun

I created this cute sewing birthday with the Lawn Fawn challenge sketch layout in mind.  I used the heart die cuts from the flipping awesome die set and then just let the creative juices flow. This was the end result.

Quilt Card

Today I created a card for the Lawn Fawn challenge. This time it is a sketch challenge. I started by using some of the dies from the flipping awesome die set.  As soon as I saw the heart and the square my mind immediately went to a quilters block. I grabbed some of my Favorite plaid Lawn Fawn paper to be the insides of those cute hearts. As I was finishing I decided that I just had to include one simple stamped image.  To match up with my quilt theme I went straight to my Lawn Fawn sewing set to find that cute little spool of thread. Now, what will I create with those cute little die cut hearts that are left over from this project? Only time will tell.
