Pink Fresh Chevron Card

I really like blue! And look at all the blue I was able to work into this sweet card. I could see using this for a baby card, or a simple you are so sweet card!

The Chevron die from Pink Fresh Studio is so much fun to play with and experiment with color. And look at those amazing florals. Folk Art Floral 2 hot foil, stencil, and die set - an absolute must for anyone who loves the Pink Fresh hot foil and stencil sets.

I usually wouldn’t pair these blues with the terra cotta burnt orange color but it just seemed to work.
Did I mention how much I love hot foil?!

I am happy with this card and will be entering it in the Pink Fresh Challenge for World Card Making Day.

Happy Birthday Pinkfresh Card

This card is my Pretty in Pink Pink Fresh Studio card! I sure love my hot foil machine and no one makes better Hot Foil plates than Pink Fresh Studio!

Just look at that stunning geo block background! Amazing right?! And then what about those florals - and what are florals without a beautiful butterfly!

This was a beautiful card for a beautiful lady on her 90th Birthday celebration!

I am entering this card in the Pink Fresh studio challenge for World Card Making Day.

Scavenger Hunt

This is the second page of a 2 page layout. I love this color scheme - and it goes so well with the beautiful Happy Blooms collection from Pink Fresh Studios.

My favourite part of this layout is those beautiful florals created from the Folk Garden 2 hot foil plate, stencil and die set. Those florals are so stunning up close. And inking them with the coordinating stencils is so much fun!!

Some of the supplies used include from Pink Fresh Studios the Folk Garden 2 hot foil plate/ stencil/ die set, Heather alphabet die set, Happy Blooms paper collection, Sweet hot foil plate and die, Celebrating You stamp & die set.

I will be entering this in the following challenge:

Easter Selfie

This was the first of a 2 page layout that I created from pictures the girls took during their own Easter Hunt. This year I was tired - Teacher Mom tired and so I wasn’t at my best for the Easter Hunt. Honestly I thought that the youngest had out grown the hunt but I was informed that she and her cousin were looking forward to a special hunt. So in came  my idea for a selfie scavenger hunt - next to no set up except for a list of selfie photos the girls need to take. The best part was the exercise they got during the hunt because I ran them all over the farm. Ha ha ha.

I love the colors used in this layout.

The best part of making this layout was playing with my hot foil system and the Pink Fresh Studio hot foil plates. Look at those beautiful florals and butterfly.

Some of the products I used include Folk Garden 2 hot foil plate /die/ stencil set, hot foil butterflies/ stencil/ die set, curvy leaves die set, Heather alphabet die, Happy Blooms Paper pack (12x12 & 6x6).

I will be entering this in the following challenge:

Selfie Beautiful

How amazing is the wonderful rainbow floral washi tape?! This washi tape makes for the most beautiful ephemera. I just had to use this colourful washi tape on this layout of my daughter to document her first selfie. Or at least the first selfie that she gave me a copy of.

This was a bit more of a minimalist layout than what I usually create. But all in all I am very happy with it.

This layout came together with the help of numerous items from pink Fresh Studios including Rainbow Washi tape, curvy leaves die set, garden wreath die set,  and Heather lowercase die set.

Kiri

You know that moment when you blink and your little one has suddenly grown up right in front of your eyes and it just kinda hits you? Well this layout is documenting the photo that hit me like that. This photo was taken in 2020 - you know when Covid was all around and everything was shut down. Well that’s when my youngest took this selfie and when I saw it on her device I was shocked that my little wasn’t so little any more.

She is the one out of all 3 kids that looks the most like me. And I am so happy to also say that she enjoys much the same activities as I do - including crafting. In fact the beautiful washi tape that I used to embellish this layout is actually hers - lol. I let her choose one crafting item one time when I placed an order and she chose Berries and Blossoms while I chose Anemone Magic. She agreed to share hers so I could create this layout.

Along with the washi tape I also used the curved leaves die which I cut in green and gold and my newest dies the folk edge squares. I also used some pieces from the Happy Blooms Paper line which I cut to create the sentiment flags. The title was made from the outer cut of the Heather Lowercase dies.

I am really happy with how this layout turned out. I will be entering this in the PinkFresh monthly challenge.

Sisters

The March challenge from PinkFresh Studio was all about using frames on your project. I decided to scrap lift a layout that I had loved since I first saw it last year. The original layout was created by Nathalie Desousa. If you want to check out her process video follow the link. I always learn so much from watching her videos. https://youtu.be/8oZSbmr78_Y

So for my take on her lovely layout I used the Anemone Magic Washi tape, scalloped rectangle die, small butterflies hot foil plate and dies, Heather lowercase dies.

This is my layout documenting a day trip for my mom and her sister to the cabin on an unseasonably warm day in November a few years back.

I have jumped on the hot foiling band wagon and am absolutely loving to look of it. And the more I use the PinkFresh washi tape the more I enjoy it. I especially like the washi with the gorgeous gold foiling on it.

If you are ever looking for some good how to videos definitely check out the PinkFresh YouTube channel. They have some amazing talent over there. I really enjoyed creating my take on Nathalie’s layout.

I will be entering this in the PinkFresh March monthly challenge:

Poinsettia Layout in Blues

Here is my first Pinkfresh Studio inspired layout for the year. This is a layout using a picture from 6 years ago.
I used Pinkfresh papers from the Oh What Fun collection as well as stencil and inked poinsettias in a coordinating blue and red as well as the beautiful curvy leaves die cut out of silver paper.

All of the pieces are placed on an ink smooched mixed media background.

I always have so much fun doing the ink stencils. But I have to say what an amazing game changer it was for me to use the hammer mill 100lb paper this first time to make these poinsettias! I had been searching for this smooth white paper after hearing Leah and Heather talk about it in their Pinkfresh live videos and boy were they right! Amazing quality and what a difference it makes to ink blending.  Just look how it matches the paper - shocking!!

I will be entering this in the following Pinkfresh challenge. The January challenge is all about revisiting the past 12 challenges. So mine follows the December challenge which was all about the Christmas Season.

Peace and Joy Gold and Green Card

Every year I say that I will make Christmas cards all through the year so that I have a stack of them ready come next Christmas. Oh, and every year it doesn’t happen - lol. So here is my first Christmas card made in January.

This is a Pinkfresh card using the diagonal background die, the gorgeous poinsettia stencil, the curvy leaves die, and the beautiful holiday sentiments which I stamped, heat embossed, and cut with the coordinating die.

I absolutely love ink stenciling the many amazing florals from Pinkfresh Studio! So much fun!! I can’t wait for my butterfly stencils to arrive. I know I will be using them lots very soon.

I will be entering this card in the Pinkfresh Studio Challenge for January. January’s challenge is a throw back to the year that just past and so I followed the December challenge that was everything Christmas.
