Home layout

This layout started out with just 1 picture, the heart digital cut, and the lovely large digital cut of home. It is always interesting to see how a layout takes on a life of its own as you add each component. We all just love living and working on the farm so I knew hearts were essential to this layout - enter both the paper pieced digital cut and also my favourite of all the papers from the staying home collection- the lovely paper with the small multicoloured hearts.

Adding the leafy branch dies with a second photo and some pieces of the ephemera also from the staying home collection and the layout was completed.

What a fun layout to create.

101 Birthday Layout

This was a fun layout to create. I started out by cutting the leafy branch die multiple times and laying it on the paper to use as a stencil. Then I sprayed some green spray over top to leave me with a white stencil of those gorgeous leafy branches.

After that I just built up the page using the branch dies that I had sprayed in green and gold. I also aged some gold splotches on the page and added the beautiful die cut numbers 101 in that lovely gold.

It all came together for this amazing birthday memory.

Cousin Time Layout

This layout was left on my table while I let ideas percolate for a few days. In the end I stayed with most of my original ideas. It was a great way to incorporate a lot of fun photos on one page.

I used a paper from my Pinkfresh collection of goodies, my favourite Heather lowercase alpha dies and some simple circle ephemera also from my Pinkfresh stash.

Wonderful

This is my take on a layout that I saw by K Scheidler on a Facebook posting.  This was a fun page to scrap lift using my Pinkfresh supplies that I had on hand.

I felt that the floral papers for the circles really had an opportunity to stand out by using the dark letters on them. I played around with the flower die cuts and placements a lot and also debated about adding mixed media to the background but decided to keep it more on the clean side with the white background.

I sure love the wonderful letter dies. I use them so much!

Real Life

This layout came together relatively quickly after finding the photos and going through my Pink Fresh ephemera stash.

I used the chevron stamp to hopefully draw attention to the ice cream oops of the photo. I also used a stencil and embossing paste that I had added some orange ink to to make it look like an ice cream splat in the bottom corner. I also added a bit of black ink because well you know - Tiger Tiger was the flavour of choice.

Add a few perfect die pieces, especially some hilarious sayings perfect for the captured  photos and voila! A layout more on the simpler side but one that I am very happy with.

Love This Layout

I have a second layout that was inspired by Zsoka and her Pinkfresh Studio Facebook live from a month ago. She did a tutorial on how to create a lovely background and so I decided to try it out. Some things didn’t go quite as I had planned (like the gold leaf) however I was quite happy with the end results.

I chose to use the green inks to coordinate with the green in the photo then I used the Just Because stamp for the floral focal piece enhanced with items from the Dainty Blossoms dies. The title came from the Keeping it Real Puffy Phrases.

Those Eyes Layout

This photo has been sitting waiting to be scrapbooked for a long time. It has always been a favourite photo of mine - how could it not be. And yet I just could not seem to figure out just what to do with it or what to title it.

The background came together after having watched a Pinkfresh Studio Facebook Live by Zsoka. I absolutely love the Pinkfresh lives!
I used the Pinkfresh luscious inks to create the background then spritzed with water. When the background was dry I added some silver flakes to mimic the silver in her shirt.

Then I went easy on the embellishments as I wanted the picture and background to take center stage. For embellishments I used the leafy branch die in silver to match the heading cut using the Heather Lowercase Alpha dies. I also used some ephemera from the Keeping It Real collection.

I am absolutely thrilled with this page! One of my favourites by far!
