Button Card

Today I have a cute little card to share. I used the button stamp and die from the Lawn Fawn sewing stamp set. I stamped and embossed the many buttons and then used square pieces of paper for my card and card mats.

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

Sunshine Bird Tag

I have a little tag to share. It was created using a Tim Holtz stencil (with some glitter paste), and Tim Holtz bird stamp and die set.  The Thank You Stamp also comes from Tim Holtz. I also used some Distress Inks Fossilized Amber for the background to give that sunshine feeling. The flower stamp was just in my stash that I had coloured and never used on a project. I am quite happy with the way it all turned out.

You Are Out Of This World Tag

Today I have a tag to share that is made using the Lawn Fawn outer space set. I first made the background out of an assortment of Tim Holtz distress inks and then popped up my stamped die cuts to create the scene.

Birthday Card - Birthday Bouquet

I will be entering this card in the Birthday Project Challenge - Birthday Bouquet at MFT

I just love these lovely dies from My Favorite Things Stamps. These fresh cut flowers sure look cute in the mason jar.

I will also be entering this card in the Cardz TV anything goes challenge #94.

MFT Camp Create 2019 Day 5

Day 5 already!?!

Day 5 is Glitzy Glitter on the My Favorite Things stamp blog site.

Seeing as I will need a number of Christmas cards I decided to make some a bit more simple. Snowflakes are a good go to for those types of cards. For my glitter I used some lovely sparkle ribbon as well as some glitter embossing powder on the snowflake. The rest of the sparkle fell to my Wink of Stella Pen.

Picture number 2 (sorry it is sideways) shows the sparkle more.

So there you have it 5 amazing days and 5 fun cards. Thanks so much for this opportunity MFT!

MFT Camp Create 2019. Day 4

Ok Day 4 has by far been my favourite and the day when I learned the most technique wise. I have to say, I did debate whether I even wanted to try making this type of card but am I ever glad I did.

Day 4 Sensational Sliders

So for this card I couldn’t find any stamps in my MFT’s stamp stash to use so I pulled out my Lawn Fawn stamps. If you haven’t visited the Camp Create Day 3 on their blog I highly suggest you check it out and watch the video. Such a great video with the best teaching! Now I sure know what MFT stamps are on my to buy list. That cute little super dog and super cat are in my next shopping cart. 😉

And then I added just a little something to the inside.

So a great big shout out to the MFT team for this particular camp day. I absolutely loved this technique and I can’t wait to try it out again. I guess it’s like when we were kids and our parents said “try it - you just might like it”. Well - I did, and I do (love it!)

I am also entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge.

MFT Camp Create 2019 Day 3

Ok so now on to day 3 of the MFT Camp Create. What a fun week this continues to be.

Day 3 - Spectacular Shakers

The card I chose to make was an star shaped shaker card. I used the Lawn Fawn Star die and stamp that I thought made it in to a nice thank you card. I’m sorry that the lighting really doesn’t do justice to this card. I really love the sparkly dark blue card stock and the blended background behind the cut out stars.

Seeing as I created a full background panel behind those cut out stars to look like a dark night sky I will also be entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge- Backgrounds.

MFT Camp Create 2019 Day 2

MFT Camp Create Day 2 is Remarkable Resist

I actually couldn’t get enough of this technique and so ended up with a few cards.

Again, I just searched my stamps for some lovely floral stamps. I love the look of floral stamps with the embossing ink and using the Tim Holtz Distress Inks to blend with.

Thank you MFT for this wonderful challenge. I’m having so much fun!
I am also entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge- Backgrounds.

Bee Happy Card

Let’s try this whole blogging crafting me time again and see what happens. Usually life gets in the way, but lately I have had a lot of fun in the craft area making cards. So here we go.

I made this card using paper scraps and a stamp set that came with a magazine some time back.

MFT Camp Create 2019 Day 1

So for the first time I have challenged myself to follow along My Favorite Things Stamp Camp Create.
So for day 1 Wonderful Watercolor

I created the following card:

Creating the water color background for this card was lots of fun. I found a brand new die set from a magazine in amongst my crafting stash. I really like how this turned out.
I will be entering it in day 1 of MFT Camp Create. Looking forward to day 2!

I am also entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Backgrounds.
