So Happy For You

The last card that I had fun creating for the Pink Fresh Studio October challenge is this one with the beautiful leaves and of course I added a sweet butterfly. 

These leaves were hot foiled and then inked up during the summer. Just look at those beautiful leaves. I felt like the non inked leaves just needed something- and that something was some bling!

What fun these challenges are - definitely join in - who knows you may just get some fun ideas to spark some new creativity.

Inking Fun

I just love being able to create cards with the fun items I inked up over summer break. 

Here is what I created. 

It was really hard taking a picture of this beauty because of all the iridescent leaves in the background. But don’t you just love those ink blended peonies?!

You are loved card

What a fantastic sentiment to have on this card. I often tell people that ink blending is my take along crafting fun that comes with me to the summer cabin. I love experimenting with colors and just playing with my inks and stencils. Then when I come home I have all these amazing florals and backgrounds that I turn into cards throughout the year. 

This is one such floral. Inked up this summer I just played and worked the pieces until I had the right floral on the right background and tada 🎉 here is my creation. 

Look at that beautiful inking! So amazing - that is wonderful paper and ink and stencils - without which it wouldn’t look half as good.

Large Leaf Card

This is a more simplistic card without all the floral frill. But pairing the bold leaf with the geo background and I was pleasantly surprised.

Fun time creating

I had some fun weekend time in my craft room a few days ago and I thought I would share my makes.

Wow 100

I am honoured and blessed to have had 2 close relatives hit this amazing milestone. My Grandmother lived to be 105 and now my Great Aunt recently became a Centurion. Happy Birthday AK!

After I photographed this lovely card I decided it did in fact need some bling so I added a sprinkling of silver gems in the white spaces - but wouldn’t you know it then I sealed it in the envelope before I remembered I needed  another picture.

Roses Card 1

I had so much fun getting inky and creative with the Roses stamp and stencil set. Embossing them in black, white, gold and silver then inking with every color of the rainbow created so many beauties. How do I choose a favourite color combo?

I won’t choose but I will just keep on creating! 

Layout Fun for INSD

Scrapbooking memories from oh so long ago does my heart well. How were you ever this little? And now you are studying for your Gr 12 Chemistry final. Wow. Time with Gram was such a special part of our day!

Our kids were so little - and so loved on by their phenomenal Gram!

Love Card

A quick valentines card I created with my pink fresh products. This came together quickly with pieces I got foiled and inked earlier in the month.

Layout - Together is Love

How can I not fall in love with these 2 amazing fur balls. We were so worried that they wouldn’t make friends and that we would have to take our newest love back to the shelter where we got her. But after 6 long weeks we had the best supervised visit where they both curled up together and peacefully fell asleep. 

So now that means that I have tons of adorable kitty pictures. All the more to scrap for fun layouts. 

This layout was fun and it was the first layout that I incorporated hand stitching on. Using the paper piecing pattern from Paige Evans with the amazing Pink Fresh Sunflower washi tape. 

Together was finally achieved!

Anniversary XOXO Card

February has the day of love in it with St. Valentines Day in it. For my hubby and I we also get to celebrate our wedding anniversary in this same month. 

So of course I pulled out all my creative juices and created this card. 

I played with some new and old Pink Fresh Studio favourites to create this card of love. Using the latest alpha dies to cut the letters from red metallic paper and the lovey folk garden 2 hot foil plate and stencils to create some coordinating florals. 

I also enjoyed stencilling the background in the newest Pink Fresh green inks. 

I will be entering this in the monthly Pink Fresh Studio Challenge for February seeing as the theme is love!
