Christmas Card

This is a winter based card that I created for the MFTStamps Get Sketchy which ends tomorrow. I used up a bunch of my paper scraps to create this. The snowflake die I used is a new one I just purchased, which of course I sparkled up with my wink of Stella pen.  And the green paper I embossed with the embossing folder.

Fairy Merry Christmas

Today I have this cute little card to share. The color scheme is following the color palette challenge from My Favorite Things blog. These guys have some really great items from their November release (maybe Merry Christmas to me?).

The stamp set is a Tiddly Inks set, which came with a magazine last year. And I colored it with my copics to follow with the color pallet as well.

Christmas Card

I created this card following the sketch inspiration challenge from My Favorite Things. I also followed the "recipe" from Die Cuttin Divas  . I used up some of my Christmas paper scraps for the back 2 pieces. The Evergreen tree is a cut from the Cricut cartridge Sesame Street Seasons. I also added some sparkle to the tree using my Wink Of Stella pen. I am quite happy with the way this card turned out.

My Favorite Things

Thanksgiving Card

This is a simple Thanksgiving card I made. I used a spellbinders stamp which I embossed. I also stamped the navy paper using versa mark to give it a matching water mark. As well as a Thanksgiving stamp. And I used a piece of ribbon from my scraps.

Birthday Layout 8x8

This is another simple 8x8 2 page birthday layout that I made. The corner presents and the XOXO sign were all cut with my cricut. Love the bit of sparkle bling!

Pumpkin Card

I had some fun making this little pumpkin "Pop Out Card". I learned this neat card fold from Mary over at Cardz TV. I used the pumpkin stamp from the Cardz TV stamp set "Fall Fun". And the papers just came from my left overs pile. I think my quick and simple card makes a cute fall/Halloween card. I used the Halloween colors as my guide from the Peachy Keen challenge from their inspiration photo color swatch.

Sweet Halloween Project

This is a Halloween treat basket that I made for a table center piece for Hallloween. The container is a cut from the Cricut Cartridge Tags Bags Boxes and More that I cut using my Cricut Expression. The pumpkin cut outs are from one of my go to cartridges - Paper Doll Dress Up. I gave the vines on the pumpkins some sparkle and added a few sequines for some extra bling. The tag is from Jaded Blossom and the stamp is a Cardz TV stamp.

A Sweet Shaker Tag

So this is a cute little shaker tag that I created. The tag cut is from the cartridge Tags Bags Boxes and More. And both the scripture stamp and the cupcake stamp are from the August release at Verve Stamps. I was super excited to find these in my mail 3 days ago. So much fun to play with my new toys!

Tag You're It

Wow! I always forget how busy the start of a new school year is in Special Education. Anyways, that's my excuse for my lack of crafting this past month. But it's time to have some crafty fun once again.

What better place to start then with the new challenge # 228  Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog Tag You're It.   This is my scrapbook page incorporating a tag from Plantin SchoolBook Cartridge. The picture doesn't do the colors justice - but I was very happy with this page.

Sequin Butterfly Sketch Card

Today's card is a clean simple Celebration Card. I embossed the white background with a cuttlebug folder. Cut the butterfly and circles out with the Graphically Speaking Cricut Cartridge, and sparkled it up with some sequins. Birthday Card

This is a card that I created out of some paper scraps. The challenge at Cardztv - Challenge #6 Feminine Birthday is to use 3 patterned papers. I used my scraps from some layouts to fulfill the 3 patterned paper requirement.  I will also be entering this in the DieCuttinDiva's sketch challenge # 177. I really enjoyed this sketch provided by DieCuttinDiva's.  I may be trying it out again in the future.
The cricut cut is the ladybug from Create A Critter 2.

Summer Color Birthday Card

I had a chance to do some creating and this is the birthday card that I came up with. I used the sketch provided by Peachy Keen stamps challenge and used some beautiful summer colors. 

The cuts come from the cricut cartridge Simply Charmed. And I used the Peachy Keen Everyday faces.

Wedding card

This is a 3D box card that I made to have on hand. I will be entering it in the 3D wedding challenge at Cardztv. Most of the cricut cuts came from the cartridge Sweethearts. 

Shaped Boys Animal Card

Here is a card that I made to have on hand for a little boys birthday.  I used the cricut cartridge Wild Card 2 for the lion.  I did some inking with brown ink to really show off the lions mane.

Embossing Paste Background

This card was made creating a background using translucent embossing paste that I tinted with some Ranger distress ink (peacock).  The stencil that I used was also from the Ranger product line. I used a 3d butterfly sticker from "my stash". I stamped the saying onto a scrap piece of card stock that matched the color quite nicely. I was happy with the way this one turned out.

Time To Craft And Share Once Again!

It has been a very long time since I posted any cards or layouts on my blog.  With some of my much loved sites having some very inspiring challenges I have decided to have some crafting fun and join in the challenges and start posting once again.  So here goes:

The Zebra Celebrate card was so much fun to make. Creating the background with black crackle, using the buttons for balloons and of course cutting the zebra from Create a Critter Cartridge.
